A tasty treat that the entire family will enjoy.
When I make these cauliflower bites I love to change up the flavour of the recipe as it's a very versatile dish to work with.
Cauliflower is normally a rather bland tasting vegetable but it also retains a lot of flavour. The main thing that you'll be seasoning is the batter that you dip the cauliflower into before rolling them in breadcrumbs and baking them!! I'll be honest, I've never tried deep frying any of my cauliflower bites as they come out very crispy in the oven.
This simple recipe can be made in less than an hour cooking time included.
Ingredients
Cauliflower (half for two adults, full cauliflower for a family of four)

Batter ingredients
In a large bowl combine
1 cup of flour
1 tablespoon of garlic powder
1 tablespoon of onion powder
1 tablespoon of smoked paprika
1 teaspoon of salt
1 teaspoon of pepper
1 tablespoon of nutritional yeast (optional)
Stir all dry ingredients well then add
1 cup of almond milk (start with half then combine and continue to add milk until you have a smooth pancake type consistency)
If you want some extra flavour and heat add 2 tablespoons of sriracha sauce and stir well.
Again if you like different spices then add those to your flour mix well then add almond milk.
In a separate bowl add breadcrumbs
Now follow guidelines for either method of cooking.Oven instructions first or Air fryer method at the end of the recipe.

Preheat oven at 425 degrees and make sure that the oven rack is on the top level.
Using a baking tray add tin foil then take the pieces of cauliflower and add them individually to the wet batter then let drip a few seconds then add to breadcrumbs and cover each piece. Add each piece to your prepared baking sheet until done with all pieces. Try not to overcrowd when baking if using a full cauliflower.

Once oven is preheated add baking tray to top rack and bake for about 15-20 minutes. Check on them at the 10 minute mark and turn the tray completely around to cook more evenly. At the 10 minute mark, you'll have a better idea of how much longer they need to cook (5-10 minutes) so keep an eye on them.

Add a quick spinach and strawberry salad and dinner is served!!
Darn Good Stuff!!
Edit for air fryer cooking!!
After dipping the cauliflower wings into the batter then breadcrumbs, allow them to air dry on a baking sheet for about 10 minutes to allow the coating time to form.
Add all cauliflower wings into a 4 quart air fryer container, using the crisping pan at the bottom, turn air flyer on and using the air flyer method cook at 400 degrees for about 20 minutes, shaking the container of wings a few times to crisp them evenly.
