Do you drink oat milk or maybe even soy milk?
If you haven't figured it out yet by some of my other recipes, I like to make anything that I can at home, so I don't have to purchase it at the grocery store!!
My thoughts are why buy what you can make yourself? Seriously, think about it for just a minute!! A container of plant based milk is between $3 to $5 depending on the size of container you're buying. A bag of oats are $3!!
You're going to use 1 cup of oats and 4 cups of water!!! So the one bag of oats for $3, is going to make about 8 batches of milk that's going to cost you between $24 to $40!!!
Call me crazy but I'm ok with 8 containers of oat milk for $3!! 🥰

Ingredients
1 cup of oats
4 cups of water
Add everything to a blender and blend for about 30 seconds until the oatmeal and water becomes milky smooth.
Don't overdo the process just 30 seconds!!! Otherwise the oats will be kind of slimy. 😐
Once blended get a bowl add a strainer and a cheesecloth or whatever else you have to help strain the oat milk. Strain a second time to remove any extra oatmeal!
Once blended, oat milk should be placed in an airtight jar or container and kept in the fridge for up to 5 days!! Refrigerate for 4 hours before using!

If you want a little sweetness to the oat milk add a teaspoon of maple syrup at the end and stir well before refrigeration.
Darn Good Stuff!!
