Ingredients

  • green (unripe) tomatoes

  • 1 tablespoon sugar

  • 1 teaspoon sea salt

Directions

Core tomatoes; slice into small pieces. Sprinkle with sugar and salt. Arrange tomato slices in a single layer on parchment paper in the air fryer basket.

Dehydrate at 190°F for 2 hours or more depending on how much tomatoes you have, until leathery but not brittle.

Remove tomato slices as they finish drying while allowing the remaining slices to continue drying. Let cool completely.

Store cooled, dried tomatoes in an airtight container at room temperature up to 6 months.
